Parts of the AutoAsphyxiation series were recently on view at ‘The Friends of The Sands Point Reserve’ charity function hosted by Iris Apfel to help save the Historical Hempstead House.

Continuing the collaboration between Paul Benney and Nitin Sawhney, Paul’s portrait of Nitin will be the cover of ‘Dystopian Dream’, the forthcoming album due out later this year.

Paul Benney is delighted to have participated in judging this years Koestler Trust Awards. The awards recognise distinguished artwork from several different genres submitted by inmates from HM prisons throughout the United Kingdom.
The selected work will be on exhibition at the Southbank Centre in October of this year
This years judges included Gavin Graham, Linda Heathcote Amory, Carol Wates, Chris Ingram and have included Grayson Perry, Sara Lucas in the past.
