For anyone in Venice for the Biennale this is for you. There was much scratching of heads last week figuring out where exactly the church of San Gallo is. Until November 2017 Hope this makes it a little easier @florafairbairn

A little surprised to find my name included in this roster for the Venice Biennale. Thanks to Catherine Milner

It was a privilege to have the great Strange perform some of the most moving poetry at my opening.

All up, lit and sound working. THIS IS NOT A Virtual Reality image and the candles are paintings not projections! Visitors have been a bit confused as to what they are actually looking at. There’s so much video at the Biennale that these paintings must be TV monitor screens to some people

Unfeasibly, I have a second exhibition, ‘Alchemic Wedding’ opening next week in Venice at the Hotel Metropole. If you can’t make the opening for ‘Speaking in Tongues’ at the Chiesa di San Gallo on the 10th then at least let’s have a drink at the Metropole! The other contributing artists are Gavin Turk, Nancy Fouts and Joseph Kosuth
